Sherman

Sherman Joseph Alexie Jr. is a Spokane novelist, short story writer, poet, screenwriter, and filmmaker born in 1966. His work draws on his experiences as an Indigenous American with ancestry from several tribes. Having grown up on the Spokane Indian Reservation, he currently resides in Seattle, Washington.
