Stanislavski

Konstantín Stanislavski, born Konstantín Serguéievich Alekséyev, was a Russian actor, theatre director, and pedagogue. Born in Moscow in 1863, he is recognized as the creator of the Stanislavski method of acting. He remained active in his field until his death in Moscow in 1938.
