Stephen Alvarez

Stephen Alvarez is an American photojournalist who became a National Geographic photographer in 1995. He is the founder and president of the Ancient Art Archive, an initiative dedicated to recording and sharing high-resolution images of ancient artwork. Throughout his career, he has documented global stories on culture and exploration, with his work appearing in exhibitions at the Visa Pour L’Image International Photojournalism Festival.
