Stephen Sharnoff is an American botanical photographer and lichenologist who specializes in close-up color documentation of plant and lichen subjects. He serves as a research associate at the University and Jepson Herbaria of the University of California, Berkeley. Previously, he held an associate position at the Missouri Botanical Garden, contributing his expertise to the field of scientific photography.
