Terry Pratchett

Sir Terry Pratchett (1948–2015) was an English novelist, humorist, and satirist best known for his long-running Discworld series of 41 comic fantasy novels. His extensive bibliography includes The Carpet People, the apocalyptic comedy Good Omens, and the Carnegie Medal-winning The Amazing Maurice and his Educated Rodents. A prolific writer, Pratchett was the UK's best-selling author of the 1990s, with his works translated into 36 languages.
