Urs Luthi

Urs Lüthi is a Swiss conceptual artist born in 1947 who attended the School of Applied Arts in Zürich. His multidisciplinary practice incorporates photography, sculpture, performance, silk-screen, video, and painting, often featuring his own body and alter ego as a central subject. Since 1994, he has served as a university professor in Kassel, Germany, and he was the recipient of the city's Arnold Bode award in 2009.
