Vaginal Davis

Vaginal Davis is an American performer, painter, curator, composer, filmmaker, and writer. Born intersex and raised in South Central, Los Angeles, she gained prominence in the 1980s New York drag scene as a genderqueer artist. A key figure in the queercore movement, Davis is also recognized for her work as a musician and film director. She currently resides in Berlin, Germany.
