Vintage Books is an American trade paperback publishing imprint established by Alfred A. Knopf in 1954. Originally an independent entity, it was acquired by Random House in 1960 and later became part of Penguin Random House. The imprint operates alongside Anchor Books and maintains a British division that was integrated into Penguin UK following the merger of the two parent companies.
