W. O. Mitchell

William Ormond Mitchell was a Canadian writer and broadcaster recognized for his contributions to literature and radio. He is best known for his 1947 novel Who Has Seen the Wind, a story depicting life on the Canadian Prairies. Additionally, he gained prominence as a radio personality for his CBC series Jake and the Kid, which aired from 1950 to 1956 and explored similar regional themes.
