Max Bill Watch: Mens Plain Dial (No Date)

by

The mechanical wristwatch series that Junghans designed in collaboration with Max Bill in 1961 is still being produced practically unchanged to this day - from the puristic dial with distinctly rounded numerals conceived especially for this product, to the domes crystal and flat appearance of the case. “Watches... as timeless as can be conceived without forgetting the time.” This quote by Max Bill exemplifies his aspiration for minimalism and modernity. The characteristic, logical layout of the dial is just one example of this design icon. And in order to not “forget the time”, the watch is wound automatically from energy generated by the wearer. Technology: Self-winding movement calibre J800.1, 38 hours power reserve Case: Stainless steel, Ø 38.0 mm, height 10.0 mm Function: Date Glass: Anti-reflective sapphire crystal Dial: Matte silver-plated, minute track and hands with environmentally friendly luminous substance Strap: Leather strap with buckle Water Resistance: Resistant up to 5 bar 27/3501.02 max bill Automatic
