Max Dudler Diocesan Library (English and German Edition)
by Max Dudler Diocesan
This book documents Swiss architect Max Dudler’s Diocesan Library and building complex in Münster, completed in 2005. The library, containing more than 700,000 volumes, is Germany’s largest special library, and needed to harmonize with a centuries-old seminary and church next door. Dudler’s signature mastery of form combines new buildings forming with existing ones a harmonious ensemble that integrates the old with the new.
