The 50th issue of GRAPHIC is published as a collaborative project with the 2023 Typojanchi International Typography Biennale, “Open Quotation Marks, Close Quotation Marks." The theme of the 2024 edition of Typojanchi was typography and sound. Featuring works and writings that inspired the Typojanchi exhibition team and works and notes by participating artists, this edition of Graphic presents this content in a fragmentary manner. Much of the presented work is omitted from the exhibition and the exhibition catalogue, yet helps frame both; contents overlap, but are also misaligned. The structure is therefore similar to Typojanchi 2023, which, rather than establishing formal ways to represent material, followed an internal rhythm or necessity.
