Richard Pevear

Richard Pevear is a literary translator recognized for his collaborative work with Larissa Volokhonsky on classic Russian literature. In addition to these joint projects, he has translated works from French, Italian, and Greek. The couple has received the PEN/Book-of-the-Month Club Translation Prize twice and earned the inaugural Efim Etkind Translation Prize for their version of Dostoevsky's The Idiot.
