TI10 Type Item #10 1234 Echo Brut 01 is an activity report for the font exhibition "1234 Echo Brut 01" by Alex Dujet (Futur Neue) in October 2013. Echo Brut 01 probed at the intersection of multiple ideas—landmarks, freedom, escape, and cognitive disruption—as a catalyst for typographic exploration. Focusing on four experiments, the project sought a singular approach to visual perception. A mini type specimen for ES Klarheit Plakat, also designed by Dujet, is enclosed. A striking typeface for headlines and short texts, Klarheit Plakat explores extremes of weight and form, blending elements from Grotesk and Kurrent versions of Extraset Typefoundry's Klarheit Grotesk.
