Most Beautiful Swiss Books 2023

An initiative of the Swiss Federal Office of Culture, the Most Beautiful Swiss Books competition aims to honor outstanding achievements in book design and promote and showcase high-quality book production. This double-volume 2023 edition is published on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the competition. A total of eighteen winning volumes are presented, selected from among more than 400 submissions. The catalog includes thematic round table discussions related to the winning titles ("An Autopsy of Tastes and Values"), as well as detailed information about each publication ("Books 2023 Awarded in 2024"). All books were judged by an international jury chaired by Sereina Rothenberger and consisting of Gina Bucher, Gregor Huber, John Morgan, and Julie Peeters.
